Arlene is unbearable to talk to! no amount of self control once she has lied and been called out, she needs to take anger management classes! Sal stopped answering the phone, after coming out to my home, performing a mold inspection test, being paid, yet never sending my results after several days that have turned into weeks and it’s horrible customer service! OMG I will never work with this company again and if you are a person who likes to handle business properly, you would skip working with them also! I asked for my results to be sent at least 6 times and have yet to receive anything! l honestly don’t believe they plan on sending it at all, but if i have to ride to Columbia in order to receive any actual help, i’m willing to bet Arlene will blow a fuse and blame everyone except her own actions and it’s sad. First things first…If you want the best men for the job, and want professional, well trained men who take pride in their work l, (Not 18 year old kids out of highschool) look no further. I researched every restoration company for quarterly employee saftey training, B.B.B complaints and positive comments, accident reports, and reviews good and bad. There was only one company that stood out from the rest…and that was Dry Guys. I usually do no leave reviews, but Sal and Bill went above the beyond once I explained my health and landlord mistreatment and refusal to pay for any testing or remediation. I’m allergic to mold, have a low immune system, and have been deathly ill for the past year. I had to initially clean up all of the mold myself. I was just diagnosed with invasive aspergillus (there is no recovery for me) and these guys bent over backwards x10 to help me. I honestly feel like they are family. I don’t know how else to put it. I am a 3rd generation union boilermaker, and normally work 120 days straight 12 hours a day with no days off in oil refinery shutdowns, so I know hard workers and men who take pride in their work and training when I see them. Sal and Bill actually spent their own time explaining to me how I was being mistreated legally by the land lord and physically by the mold infestation in my apartment. They are so knowledge they could be attorneys. That right there is unheard of these days. A lot of companies claim to take pride in their work, but when you ask a question about a task being performed, you only get a yes or no answer. Dry Guys actually break the work to be performed down so you understand it. Whether you are an elderly woman with no knowledge of remediation, or a retired professional, you have no worries because your safety is their number one goal. certain things are is they main priority. Initial review of my house was very superficial. Made a second appointment with the owner, waited around all day and he never showed even after confirming the appointment twice. They did terrible work and took 8 months to fix the leak in my roof. My roof looks terrible and the patch job they did on my ceiling looks bad as well. They ruined my brand new hardwood floors by letting water constantly run on them. Please do not hire them for any work to your house. They do terrible work and scam you out of thousands. I called in a panic, knowing that there is Black Mold, Mildew, and Pink Mold, which is a Bacteria called Serratia marcescens. Exposure to pink mold can cause a variety of symptoms, including allergic reactions, respiratory issues, and infections. Yesterday, they answered my plea for help, knowing that I am penniless, I haven't been able to work since May, and I'm waiting for my Disability to hit on December 2nd. They agreed to help me. Quinton, a Technician, started the most THOROUGH inspection I have ever seen. I did try to tell him to wear a mask, but he said no. Within an hour, he was experiencing symptoms of Mold Exposure. They found the mold is not only in the walls, but also coming up through the cracked slab my First Floor Apartment sits on. These Building are settling, and badly. The pipes are busted inside the walls. The Palisades at Ballentine knew of the problems, and allowed my 77 with Stage 3 End Stage COPD to move in here anyway. Better yet, when they did my lease on January 9, 2024? The Office Staff (Robin and Marla) incorrectly entered my address for the Renter's Insurance Policy I purchased through them! Nothing in my Apartment would have been covered in case of any Fire, or this occurrence! They will be out Friday morning to do the Actual Air Quality and Water testing. Oh. I lost my Right Leg Below the Knee on May 23rd, because of the water here. Showering in it. Now I'm looking at losing part of my eft foot, again, because of the bacteria in this water. Possibly losing MORE of the right leg. Because of the bacteria. Don't be a Julie. Let Dry Guys keep you, your loved ones, and your possessions safe!
